Network diagrams

Creates overview of your network environment and makes it easier to point out what parts of your customer(s) network are affected in case of a malfunction. When you click through at the device you will see management information like an IP Address, Hostname, Serial, service contractnumber and management tooling for direct access via the CLI or an interface configurator. The direct neighbours are showed and there is a picture of the device.

Manage Devices

The Devices are the masterdata of the application. It is the starting point for using ISMAGIC. The tab Devices shows an overview of the devices per site, campus or customer. Here you can manage your equipment by adding, change or delete devices, of course depending of your privilege level.

In one overview you will see the categorie of the devices, brand, how to manage etc. From this point you can allso click through to manage de device via de CLI.

Network Devices

Besides the textual information the network devices are shown, so less experienced support engineers get an idea about how the devices look like. It’s important to get familiar with the devices to become more experienced.

All the information that is needed in case of an emergency is here to find, so no time will be lost by finding out what contract it is, with supplier and so on. 

This gives your customer service staff members a solid certainty to to there job as good as they can.

Racks

With rack-administration you are able to view all your installed equipment inside racks. This can be very useful when you want to know where a device is located, you know exactly where to look and in case of a malfunction you are able to act very fast!

Racks can be added to every floorplan within Ismagic, besides it is possible to view every device when you click the magnifying glass that is shown when you hover over the rack-icon. Rack icons are fully customizable!
